The most common asked question amongst notaries, is the choice of colors they use

for their stamps. The idea that there are more than black and blue to choose from

makes the choice easy to just pick something that would make you stand out from the rest.

The very idea that purple is one of my spirit colors and yet I feel hesitant on choosing it when ordering from a supplier makes me feel some type of way.

As a notary public, having the right color of notary stamps is essential in ensuring that all documents are properly signed and authenticated. Notary stamps come in a variety of colors, each with its own purpose and best practices. It is important to understand the purpose of each color stamp in order to properly carry out your duties as a notary public.

One of the most common notary stamps is the blue stamp. This is the most widely used color of notary stamps because it is required by many states as part of the notary authentication process. The blue notary stamp also makes it easier to read the text on the document, as the ink stands out against the white paper. This stamp is typically used to certify copies of documents and to authenticate signatures.

The next color of notary stamp is the red stamp. The red stamp is used to certify documents that are related to real estate transactions. This stamp is usually used to certify documents such as deeds, mortgages, and other real estate documents. This stamp is often used in conjunction with the blue stamp to ensure that all documents are properly certified and authenticated.

The green notary stamp is also used for notarizing documents. This stamp is used to certify documents that are related to banking and investments. This stamp is often used to certify documents such as loan agreements, bank drafts, and other financial documents.

Finally, the black notary stamp is used for more general notarization purposes. This stamp is used to certify documents such as affidavits, contracts, and powers of attorney. This stamp is also used on documents that are related to wills, trusts, and other legal documents.

No matter what color of notary stamps you use, it is important to follow best practices when notarizing documents. This includes ensuring that the notary stamp is properly completed, that all necessary documents are present, and that all documents are signed in the presence of the notary. Following these best practices will help to ensure that all documents are properly authenticated and that all parties involved are properly protected.
